Auto Awning The Canvas Auto Awning has been by far the most popular sun blind for over 50 years due to the soft enhancing look with excellent shade factors as well as a very good air flow allowance for keeping your window area cool. The Canvas Auto Awning operates with a spring loaded roller and has arms that projects the awning away from the window creating a pocket of air which reduces heat transfer through the glass. The arms lock into the vertical guides at each side that can be adjusted for the desired height. The Rope & Pulley Awning also known as a butcher blind operates on rope and pulleys that rolls from the bottom up and straps from the bottom roller to the ground, post or balustrade which tensions the cloth and holds the awning down, this type of awning is a very old design though in some cases the best option such as very large openings like shop fronts or non level top fixing such as an end of a veranda.

Fixed Guide Awning The Fixed Guide Awning has excellent shade factors usually used on high windows or windows with limited access. We have a huge range of colours and fabrics including the most popular Cotton canvas, Mesh/Visiontex, and Acrylic canvases. The Fixed Guide Awning is similar to the Auto Awning only without the arms at the sides, instead metal runners are bolted to the bottom rail. The guides are fixed on the angle which bottom rail runs up and down on, as its name suggests. The awning is generally drawn down by rope which in most cases runs through pulleys to either outside or inside, which is tied to a cleat to hold the awning in the desired position. Also this awning can be made motorized or crank operation depending on your window access and budget.
